A Day...No, Hour...At the Beach

Today I decided to attempt to take all three kids to the beach.  It is Spring Break here, after all, and the weather is close to perfect, so it seemed like the logical thing to do.  Thankfully, my friend Amanda went with and her son Robert is Adam's best bud, so that helped.  Plus, the logistics of getting everyone washed off, changed, and loaded in to the car is impossible to do alone (legally, anyway).  So Amanda was our beach saviour today :-)  The babies absolutely LOVED the water and immediately went right for it.  In fact, they beat Adam in.  They're still a little toddl-y, so walking in the sand (plus this particular beach has a pretty big incline) was a challenge.  I think they enjoyed it, though...right up until the part where I had to strip them down and hose them off.  Adam had fun, too, and by the end of the jaunt he was brushing up on his "going underwater" skills.  It's gonna be one helluva summer :-)
