Happy 2013!
1) Yesterday I was a very proud Mama. At 5:07 pm, I looked out in the backyard to see Adam and Audie standing still, hands over their hearts, facing the "music". Proud to be an American. I ran to grab my camera, but the anthems ended and they resumed boying.
2) Yesterday I found a pair of maternity pants in my pajama drawer - a pair that I don't even remember as being mine. Might be time to clean out the dresser...
3) New Year's morning, Audie and Anaya were (apparently) starving. Before Alan and I awoke, they helped themselves to a giant tub of yogurt (which they at least took the time to pour into two tupperware bowls), a whole apple each, a juice box each, blueberries, cheese slices (which they took bites out of and put back in the package), and A STICK OF BUTTER. I guess if I ever accidentally "forget" them at Wal-mart, they'll survive.
4) WE LEAVE FOR AUSTRALIA TOMORROW!!
